A week ago, I made an online order from Amazon.co.uk for a few books on copywriting and marketing. Within a week, the books have arrived and I have yet to glance through them.

This book was recommended to those who were interested in getting into the business of writing copies; not only learn how to write, but write it very well and sell it. Written in plain English with a simple structure, this book was targeted at those who needs a boost on how to get started writing for a living. Furthermore, the book provides great advices and will lead to a practical experience.

I’ll remember to pack this book with me on my upcoming trip to Riga, Latvia on March 26.

The Internet is not so much about technology as it is about people. David Meerman Scott provides an in depth perspective on the new rules of new media for marketing. This book suggests that electronic communications is about engaging in conversation with prospects and persuading them to take action. Participation and connection is a revolution, not an evolution in today’s marketing communications.

I look forward to reading this book in the near future.
